Author Guidelines

Platform-wide guidance for preparing a clear, complete, and responsibly reported manuscript.

These guidelines do not impose unannounced limits or formatting rules. Journal-specific requirements will be displayed only after editorial approval.

Before You Begin

Confirm that the work is ready for editorial consideration, that all listed authors approve the submission, and that relevant declarations are complete.

Scope and Journal Selection

Choose the journal whose stated scope most closely matches the manuscript. Browse the journal directory before submitting.

Article Types

Structure the work for an article type supported by the selected journal. Availability can vary. Review the article-type directory.

Manuscript Preparation

Use a clear, internally consistent structure appropriate to the study design and audience. Provide enough methodological detail for informed assessment.

Policy status: Journal-specific formatting specifications will be added after editorial approval.

Title Page

Provide a concise title and complete author, affiliation, and corresponding-author information. Identify any additional title-page declarations requested by the selected journal.

Abstract

Summarize the purpose, approach, principal findings, and conclusions in a form suited to the article type. Avoid claims that extend beyond the reported evidence.

Keywords

Supply terms that accurately describe the subject and improve discovery. Journal-specific keyword guidance will be confirmed before launch.

Main Text

Organize the manuscript so readers can follow the rationale, methods or approach, findings, limitations, and interpretation. Use headings appropriate to the article type.

Figures

Provide legible figures with descriptive captions and identify third-party material or necessary permissions. Include only figures that contribute to the work.

Policy status: Technical artwork specifications will be added before launch.

Tables

Present tables as accessible, editable content where practical, with clear titles, headings, notes, and definitions for abbreviations.

References

Cite relevant sources accurately and consistently. Authors are responsible for checking bibliographic details and links.

Policy status: The final reference style has not been specified.

Supplementary Material

Where it improves transparency or usefulness, prepare supporting files with clear labels and descriptions. Remove confidential or identifying material that should not be shared.

Author Information

Provide each author’s name and institutional affiliation accurately, along with a reliable contact for the corresponding author.

ORCID

Authors are encouraged to provide an ORCID identifier where available. This does not imply mandatory ORCID authentication or native integration.

Authorship

List as authors only those who meet the journal’s approved authorship criteria; acknowledge other contributions appropriately. Read the authorship principles.

Funding

Name funding and material support accurately and describe the funder’s role where relevant. If no specific support was received, provide an appropriate statement.

Conflicts of Interest

Disclose interests relevant to the work for every author, or state that none are identified. Read the conflicts guidance.

Ethics

Describe applicable oversight, approvals, exemptions, welfare safeguards, and relevant identifiers. Read the research ethics principles.

Clinical Trial Information where applicable

Provide relevant registration and protocol information for clinical trials where applicable.

Policy status: Publisher-specific registration requirements will be confirmed before launch.

Data Availability

Include an accurate statement describing access to supporting data and any justified restrictions. Read the data availability principles.

Preprints

Legitimate preprints are permitted and should be disclosed during submission. Read the preprint policy.

AI and AI-assisted Technologies

Disclose material generative-AI use and retain full human responsibility for the work. AI tools cannot be authors. Read the AI policy.

Article Processing Charge

There is no submission fee. After formal acceptance, the APC is ₹3,999 for India billing locations or US$149 outside India. Read the APC policy.

Cover Letter

Briefly explain the manuscript’s relevance to the selected journal and disclose information the editors need to assess the submission responsibly.

Submission Checklist

Confirm that files, metadata, author details, figures or tables, declarations, and applicable ethics, funding, conflict, and data statements are complete. Use the submission gateway to review preparation.

After Submission

The manuscript may undergo completeness checks, editorial assessment, peer review, revision, and a decision as applicable.
