What may be raised
Authors, reviewers, readers, and others may raise a focused editorial appeal, procedural complaint, peer-review concern, reviewer or editor conduct concern, or research-integrity concern.
Information to provide
Email editorial@anvapublishing.com with the journal, manuscript ID or publication link, issue, relevant dates, evidence, and requested outcome. Avoid unnecessary personal information.
Editorial appeals
An appeal should identify a material factual misunderstanding, overlooked evidence, conflict, or procedural failure. It is not repeated resubmission of the same argument, and reassessment does not guarantee a changed decision.
Assessment and independence
The matter is documented and assessed proportionately. Where feasible, someone not responsible for the disputed action reviews it. Additional expertise may be sought while confidentiality and fair opportunity to respond are protected.
Integrity and record concerns
Concerns about data, images, authorship, ethics, conflicts, or peer review may require investigation and institutional cooperation where appropriate. Published-record action follows the corrections and retractions policy.
Professional communication
Communication should remain evidence-based and respectful. Threats, harassment, impersonation, confidentiality breaches, and attempts to manipulate editorial action are unacceptable.
