Publishing policies

Conflicts of Interest

Transparent disclosure enables assessment of interests relevant to scholarly work.

These policies apply across ANVA Journals unless an explicitly stated journal or article-specific requirement applies. Last updated: 1 September 2026.

Authors

Authors must disclose relevant financial and non-financial interests, funding, and the funder’s role where applicable, or clearly state that no relevant conflict is identified.

Editors and reviewers

Editors and reviewers must identify interests that could affect, or appear to affect, impartial assessment and recuse themselves where appropriate.
