It publishes Earth science, geology, geochemistry, geophysics, hydrology, atmospheric and climate science, environmental science, and environmental ecology, including processes, change, resources, hazards, biodiversity, and pollution.Water, soil, waste, remediation, monitoring, remote sensing, GIS, environmental modelling, conservation, ecosystem services, circular economy, environmental management, climate adaptation and mitigation, and human–environment systems are welcome.Policy-relevant work should remain transparent and evidence-led; advocacy or opinion without a scholarly research basis is outside scope.
