The journal welcomes work that joins concepts, methods, or evidence across established disciplinary boundaries and explains the contribution made by each participating field.Relevant interfaces include biology and computing, chemistry and materials, physics and engineering, mathematics and biological systems, AI and natural sciences, environment and technology, agriculture and data science, and energy and materials. Complex systems, instrumentation, and multidisciplinary methods are also suitable.Manuscripts should present an integrated result rather than parallel studies placed side by side and should remain intelligible beyond the authors’ home discipline.
