ANVA Foundations of Mathematics & Statistics

    Mathematics and Statistics

Mathematics coverage includes algebra, analysis, geometry, topology, number theory, combinatorics, discrete mathematics, differential equations, dynamical systems, optimization, numerical analysis, modelling, applied mathematics, and mathematically centered physics.Statistics coverage includes probability, theory and inference, Bayesian and frequentist methods, regression, multivariate methods, time series, stochastic processes, experimental design, sampling, computational statistics, statistical learning, and uncertainty quantification.Application papers must contribute new mathematical or statistical understanding, methodology, analysis, or theory; routine use of standard techniques is insufficient.

  3. Step 3
