Original Research Article
A complete original study with methods, evidence, limitations, and discipline-appropriate conclusions.
Specialty journal
Computer Science and AI
Rigorous theoretical, empirical, systems, and applied contributions in computing and artificial intelligence.
This is a scholarly computing journal, not a product-news venue. Applied work must include a substantive computational contribution and evaluation suited to its claims.
Intended readership: AI, computing, software, data, and systems researchers and domain researchers making computational contributions.
The journal advances computational theory, methods, systems, and evidence across AI, machine learning, generative AI, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning, knowledge representation, agents, and computational robotics.
Its wider scope includes algorithms, data mining, software and distributed systems, cloud and edge computing, databases, cybersecurity, HCI, and computational science. Trustworthy AI, evaluation, safety, explainability, robustness, and responsible AI are welcome when rigorously analysed.
Applied AI should move beyond deploying an existing model by adding methodological, algorithmic, systems, evaluation, dataset, or generalizable empirical insight.
Use these areas to judge whether the manuscript’s central contribution belongs in this journal.
Methods should suit the research question. These common approaches are illustrative, not artificial requirements.
Editors assess each manuscript as a whole. The following are generally outside scope unless a clear substantive contribution is established:
Availability is confirmed during submission and may vary. No universal length or item limits are implied.
A complete original study with methods, evidence, limitations, and discipline-appropriate conclusions.
A critical, structured synthesis that advances understanding of a defined topic.
A focused original contribution whose significance can be established concisely.
A validated method, workflow, instrument, computational approach, or analytical advance.
Evidence-informed analysis of a significant development or direction; unsupported opinion is unsuitable.
